Public Hearing Notice – The Town of Washburn
The Town of Washburn will hold a Public Hearing on January 14, 2019, at 6:45 PM, at the Town Office, 1287 Main Street, Washburn, to discuss acceptance of a Public Infrastructure CDBG Grant. The purpose of the grant is to provide assistance to address surface water runoff from 250 acres of farmland flowing into Porter, Wilder, Woodman, Harvest Lane, Kim Street, Story Hill Estates, Berce, and Main Street to Thompson and Anastasia Drive.
Public comments will be solicited at this Hearing and will be submitted as part of the Project Development Phase. All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the acceptance of these funds are invited to attend this Public Hearing. Comments may be submitted in writing to: Donna Turner, Town of Washburn, 1287 Main Street, Washburn ME 04786 at any time prior to the Public Hearing.
